IMPACT: Now that the elections have come and gone, what is your message to your party members?
Longe: The message to my party members is to, first of all, congratulate them for the success of the party at the elections because all my party members worked tirelessly in making sure that we continue progressively by voting Hon. S. O. B. Agunbiade to enable him continue with what he has been doing. He has been making Ikorodu very proud and we are also very proud of him, hence, his re-election. My message to them is that they should continue to dedicate themselves to the Almighty God and APC and also be faithful and loyal to the party. I can assure them that for every loyalty and faithfulness, there is always rewards.
IMPACT: What should people be expecting from your party’s candidates who have just been elected?
Longe: People should expect cooperation and robust governance from our governor and Assembly members that have just been elected. We want them to continue from where the incumbent governor and Assembly members are going to stop. We have known Lagos for continuity.
IMPACT: What is your message to the opposition?
Longe: My message to them is to join hands with us in moving Ikorodu and Lagos State forward. We are brothers and sisters afterall. We don’t engage in electoral violence in Ikorodu and we have always been peaceful.
