The Alliance for Democracy candidate for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Bork Ayanlaja casting his vote in Ikorodu on Saturday
Hon Shamsideen Abayomi Bork Ayanlaja, the Alliance for Democracy (AD) candidate for the much coveted Ikorodu Constituency I seat in the Lagos State House of Assembly, has stated that he can win the election against the incumbent and other candidates.
He spoke with THE IMPACT at his polling unit 011 at Isele II, Ikorodu, after casting his vote at 11.59am.
“My expectation is to win the election. I believe that I can win the election”, he stated confidently.
He described the process as slow because of the inability of the card reader machines to work properly.
“The process is very slow because the machines are not working very well. Most of the people that wanted to vote have not been able to vote. “
Four hours after the commencement of voting process , Hon. Ayanlaja scored the Governorship/State Assembly elections in Ikorodu 40%.
“Presently, I cannot say that the election is free and fair because I have not gotten report from my field agents. But so far, I can rate it 40%.”
