Never Say Never Foundation (NSNF), a non-profit organization in commemoration of the International Women’s Day has organized a programme for women in Ikorodu
The sensitization programme themed, “”Balance for Better – Need for a Gender Balanced World” was held at the Agric market in Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA) on Thursday, March 7, 2019 with Mrs Oyeyemi Victoria Lasbery and Mrs Foluke Adelusi as speakers
Also in attendance at the event which has in attendance many market women was the representative of the Citizens Mediation Centre, Mrs Ogunbela

The Project coordinator of the NSNF, Olayinka Shojupe stated that the event was meant sensitise women of their roles in the society
He added that it was necessary to engage women and continue to educate them because of the crucial roles they are playing on daily basis in the society
International Women’s Day is celebrated globally on March 8 of every year in honour of the contributions of women to development of the global village
