The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, President Muhammudu Buhari and his Vice Presidential candidate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, have polled 40, 719 votes to beat their main rival and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his Vice, Peter Oba, who polled 21, 719 votes.
In the election held on Saturday across the 19 wards in Ikorodu local government, President Buhari won in all the wards.
The total registered votes for the Presidential election was 66, 283, while the number of valid votes was 63, 658.
According Prof Ilupeju Akanbi, the Presidential Collation Officer for Ikorodu, AAC polled 410 votes, PCP scored 375 votes while other 69 candidates/parties scored between I to 57 votes.
The number of rejected votes was 2625 and valid votes were 63, 658.
A total of 73 candidates/parties contested in the Presidential election.
In ward A1 (Isele 1), APC polled 3766 votes to PDP ‘s 3,122 votes.

In ward A2 (Isele 2), APC recorded 1,315 votes while PDP polled 640 polls.
APC scored, 1,617 votes in Ward A3 (Itunpate) to PDP’s 823 votes.
In ward A4 (Aga/Ijomu), APC polled 3,772 votes while PDP scored 1,784 votes.
In ward A5 (Ipakodo), PDP also lost to the APC by 1,989 votes to 3,897, while at ward B1 (Imota), APC polled 1,280 votes to defeat PDP which got 895 votes.
In ward B2 (Imota), APC polled 1,868 votes to PDP’s 1,041 votes.
APC polled 1, 080 votes in Ward B3 (Isiu) while PDP scored 514 votes.
In ward C1 (Igbogbo), APC scored 1,796 votes to PDP’s 933 votes.
In ward C2 (Igbogbo), APC scored 2,926 votes to PDP’s 1,354 votes.
Also, APC polled 1, 830 votes in Ward C3 (Igbogbo/Offin/Oreta) while PDP scored 867 votes.
In Ibeshe ward C4, APC scored 2,018 votes while PDP polled 1,204 votes.
APC polled 1, 828 votes in Ward D1 (Ijede) while PDP polled 652 votes.
In Ward D2 (Ijede), APC scored 2,109 votes to beat PDP which scored 930 votes.
The APC candidate polled 1,877 votes in Ward D3 (Agura), while PDP Presidential candidate scored 1,116 votes.
In Odogunyan, Ward E1, APC polled 3, 284 votes to beat PDP’s candidate who polled 1, 571 votes.
APC also scored 1, 545 votes in Ward E2 (Erikorodo) to beat PDP which scored 782 votes.
In Ward E3 (Agbala), the ruling party polled 2, 578 votes to beat PDP which polled 1, 026 votes while in Ward E4 (Ikorodu West), APC scored 763 votes to beat PDP which polled 282 votes.
The results from Ikorodu Local Government is expected to be added to those from other local governments in Lagos State and thereafter to those from other states to get the aggregate results across the country.
