The Presidential Support Committee, the body serving as the campaign foot soldiers for the re- election of President Muhammadu Buhari, under the leadership of its national Chairman, his Excellency, Senator Goodwill Akpabio, will inaugurate its executives for the Southwest Zone and the six state coordinators in Lagos, Oyo, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti and Ondo, on Friday January 25, 2019, at the Premier Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo State.
According to the Deputy National Chairman, South, Senator Odunsi, the Presidency appointed Senator Robert Ajayi Boroffice to oversee and coordinate all the activities of all the organisations in the South West region for the actualisation of the 4+4 Agenda of President Muhamadu Buhari in order to move Nigeria to the promise land.
After the inaguration of the National Executive Officers on November 23, 2018, at NICON LUXURY, Abuja, grassroots mobilisation in the South West has been in top gear.
According to the Zonal Secretary of the body, Engr. Dele Olanubi, some of the stakeholders in Nigeria have been invited to grace the occasion. Among these are Rt. Hon. Gideon Sammani, the Senior Special Assistant to The President on Political Matters and other presidential aides serving in the advisory committe to the PSC.
Also expected to attend are the Host Governor, His Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the APC Governorship candidates in Oyo, Ogun and Lagos States, Hon. Adelabu, Mr Dapo Abiodun and Mr Babajide Sanwolu respectively.
Engr Olanubi further stated that the PSC is the only body mandated to coordinate the activities of all Buhari Support Groups for the realization of the President’s victory in the coming general elections.
He urged Nigerians not to allow those who only think and plan in Dubai and are hell bent in selling NNPC to their foreign friends, to succeed in taking over power..
Also, Senator Ajayi Borofice promised to use his experience as a legislator and grassroots politician to mobilise the highest number of votes in the history of South West for President Muhammadu Buhari come 16th February, 2019.
The Publicity Secretary of the body for The South West Zone, Hon. Doyin Johnson who is also the Coordinator of Asiwaju Frontliners, concluded that President Muhamadu Buhari is an upright man known by Nigerians as a truthful, visionary and courageous leader whose outstanding integrity is wiping corruption off from the entire Nigeria system, while he also challenged the PDP presidential flag bearer to come out boldly and tell Nigerians what he forgot in Aso Rock that he want to go back and pick and also tell Nigerians the10 cardinal points or programs he gave his superior, President Olusegun Obasanjo, when he served as his Vice, but which the President refused to execute and which is now making him to seek election to go back to Aso Rock.
He said Nigerians are now more wiser with their third eyes widely open in order to prevent handling Nigeria back to those that suck it dry.
Hon.Johnson advised Nigeria youths to use the voting strength in their hands to vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari and other APC candidates as the progressive party with visible landmark achievements.
