The Real Initiative, a non-governmental organization in collaboration with the Ikorodu Division Youth Movement has perfected plans to organize a public debate for candidates in Ikorodu division vying for positions in the Lagos State House of Assembly in the forthcoming General Elections.
The debate, which is tagged, ‘Ikorodu Division Legislative Public Debate’, is scheduled to hold at the Ikorodu Town Hall on Sunday, January 27, 2019.
The debate is billed to feature only candidates vying for Ikorodu Constituency I and Ikorodu Constituency II seats in the state assembly.
According to the Ikorodu Division Youth Movement Coordinator, Comrade Samson Bisiriyu, seven candidates from different political parties have signaled their interest to participate in the debate.
He added that the debate is strictly by invitation
