The Council Treasurer turned politician became the fourth candidate to sign the peace accord in Ikorodu division.

“I have been standing for peace all my life and I will always be on the side of peace.
The lawmaker, who assured that there will be no violent during the election, also pledged that he will use his full capacity to further serve his people if re-elected.
He condemned what he termed ’miscommunication’ and ‘false story’ about him on the social media while challenging the youths to always find means of engaging their elected representatives to get first-hand and true information and not based their submissions on assumption.
Revealing what he has been able to do in empowering the youths, Hon. Solaja stated that he has used his office to secured employment for 128 youths since 2015 and equally sponsored 150 students for GCE and JAMB examinations.
He also stated that he organized computer training courses for 97 people in his constituency and launched an empowerment programme for artisans.
Hon. Solaja also stated that through his representative capacity, he has facilitated development of Rice factory and the ongoing construction of the new Mile 12 market in Imota.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the NTYTR, Comrade Bisiriyu had informed the lawmaker, who is seeking re-election on the platform of APC, that the visit was to ensure that he signed the peace accord, invite him for political debate and know his plans for youths if re-elected.
He, on behalf of the youths, thanked the lawmaker for his efforts so far in developing the division and enjoined him to do more if given another chance to represent the people.
