The Ikorodu-Oga Development Association (IKODASS) on Wednesday, November 14, honoured the Director of Rhoda Youth Centre, Mrs Oritsematosan Tititlayo Erogbogbo and Chief Executive Officer, Ikorodu-Oga Radio/TV, Omoba Akinyemi Adepeju Abraham, with the 2018 Role Model and Best Community Service Awards
The award ceremony was held at Ikorodu Town Hall, Olubi Street, Ikorodu, during the Youth Activities/Children Day event of the ongoing 27th Ikorodu-Oga Day Carnival.
The IKODASS Chairman, Otunba Segun Abiru, described Mrs Erogbogbo as a symbol of hope and an inspiration to youths

“Our Role Model this year is a personality that we all can be proud of. A dutiful, diligent, patriotic and humane individual who believes in goodness for the generality of people and bringing out the best from the youth. A woman with boundless energy
“We are honouring Mrs Erogbogbo, a mother and dutiful wife as our Role Model for 2018. I confirm that our Role Model this year is a lady of substance who has through Rhoda Vocational Institute shaped the future of not only the youths but also elders who want to be employers of labour
While congratulating the awardees, Otunba Erogbogbo also challenged youths to work hard and be creative.
Mrs Tosan Erogbogbo was born in Warri, Delta State and attended Federal Government College, Warri between 1979 and 1986. She later proceeded to the University of Lagos (UNILAG) where she bagged Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology.
She later proceeded to the University of Ibadan for her Master’s Degree in Medical Parasitology.
Omoba Peju Akinyemi, attended St. Paul School 2, Ijoku, Sagamu and Remo Divisional High School, Sagamu before proceeding to the University of Calabar, where he studied Public Administration.
He is a member of the Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON)
Akinyemi brought Ikorodu Division into national reckoning in 2015 with the launch of Ikorodu-Oga Radio, Nigeria’s first online community radio.
