It was special birthday celebrations for the Chairman of Igbogb/Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Comrade Sesan Daini,on Saturday, July 28, 2018, as political leaders, staff members of the council and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) commended his impactful administration.
Hon. Daini, despite that his birthday celebration coincided with the A+ Disciples’ one year anniversary, joined other APC chieftains and members of the A+ Disciples at a rally, organised by the Pro- Ambode group, to sensitise residents on registration and collection of their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC).
The council boss had, on Friday, July 28, 2018, celebrated his birthday with staff members of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA who were equally born in July and others.
At the celebration, which held at the Council Secretariat hall, members of the management staff and other staff members of the council commended the council chairman for his open-door policy and his impactful administration in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
Speaking at the Disciples Anniversary/Comrade Daini’s birthday reception in Igbogbo, the Convener of A+ Disciples and former Lagos State acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, commended the celebrant for impacting positively on the council.
“Today is not just about the celebration of A+ Disciples anniversary, it’s also about the celebration of one of our chieftains and the chairman of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Sesan Daini, who is adding another year”, she stated.
“I commend you for the impact you have been able to make in one year in office. You have really impacted on the council and I want to enjoin you to continue on that path and even improve.
“You are a listening chairman and I commend the way and manner that you have been consulting. Continue in the path of your predecessors like Hon. Jimoh Ogunmiuyiwa and Hon. Gbenga Basanya and other leaders.
“I pray that you will not depart from the commendable way that you are pursuing.
“I wish you happy birthday and many more years of success and impactful activities”, she prayed.
Others dignitaries who were at the celebration were Hon. Babajimi Benson, Member, Federal House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Saka Solaja, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, Comrade Titi Adegboyega, Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Vice chairman, Ikorodu LG, Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru, a Senatorial aspirant, Hon. Jimoh Ogunmuyiwa, former chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Hon. Rotimi Olowonishaye, former Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Barr. Ade Ayeni, Secretary to the Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA among others.
Various interesting prizes were handed-over to winners of indoor games such as Ludo, Whot, Chess, Scrabble which were organized a week earlier in commemoration of Hon Daini’s birthday.
Also, Comader Daini was presented with an award by the Disables Association, Igbogbo chapter.
Members of the group also seized the opportunity of the event to express their gratitudes to Hon. Daini for his supports for them and his positive impact on Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
