The Chief Executive Officer of Ikorodu-Oga Online Radio, Omoba Abraham Peju-Akinyemi and his staff members resumed at their Ipakodo office on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, after Sallah break to a great shock and disbelief as they discovered that robbers had broken into the office and carted away equipments and other valuable items.
THE IMPACT gathered that the invaders entered the office, which is situates on NBC Road, Ebute, Ikorodu, Lagos State., after removing part of the wooden door.
Items carted away were laptops, speakers, studio microphones, television sets among others.
The hoodlums also ransacked the whole office and scattered office documents and other things everywhere
While speaking with our reporter, Omoba Akinyemi, who is Ogun State House of Assembly aspirant, told our reporter that, “Armed robbers broke into our Office / Studio in the early hours of today (June 19) and carted away valuable items. We thank God for everything”.
“They also attempted to enter my neighbour’s flat, but were unable to gain access because of the high fence and iron door that separated us. It is devastating; but as a businessman, my spirit is not broken.” He added
The case was reported at the Ipakodo Police Station. It was gathered that an officer who was assigned to the case has since visited the scene
