The new chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikorodu North, Ikorodu West, Igbogbo/Bayeku, Imota and Ijede Local Government Development Areas (LGAs) have inaugurated the executive committees of the party at the LGA and Ward level in their respective councils.
The chairmen of the party in Ikorodu North LGA, Hon. Abiodun Iyiola, Ikorodu West LGA, Elder Olakunle Olakitan and Imota LGA, Hon. Akinyemi Ramon joined their counterpart in Ikorodu Local Government in inaugurating the executive councils on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
While the party chairmen in Igbogbo/ Bayeku LGA, Hon. Sefiu Ogunyemi and Ijede LGA, Sunday Kareem , held their own inauguration for the new party executives in their respective councils on Friday, June 1, 2018, at their party secretariats.
A total number of 26 executive members were inaugurated in each of the four LGAs, while 27 executive members were inaugurated in each of the ward committees.
While Ikorodu West, Ikorodu North and Igbogbo/Bayeku LGAs have five wards each, Imota and Ijede LGAs have four wards each.
In Ikorodu North LGA, the new party chairman , Hon. Iyiola, sworn-in Jimoh Odidi (Vice Chairman), Quadri Adeosun (Secretary), Wale Olowolagba (Assistant Secretary), Aedewunmi Sulaimon (Legal Adviser), Shaheed Adebamowo (Treasurer) and Ojediran Bilikis (Publicity Secretary) among others into the LGA executive council.
At the ward level, Olu. J. Omoniyi, Azeez Aregbesola, Aderonke Omololu, Elijah Adedeji and Tokunbo Agiri were inaugurated as Chairmen in Ward E1, E2, E3, E4 and B3 respectively and they in return, sworn-in and inaugurated their ward excos comprising 27 members each including themselves.
In Ikorodu West LGA, Hambolu F, was sworn-in as the Vice Chairman of the LGA executive committee with other 25 members.
At the Ikorodu West LGA Ward level, Oye Ojediran, Akeem Olatunde, Tokunbo Afolayan, Ogunbowale Christian and Gbenga Adebanjo were inaugurated as Ward A, B, C, D and E chairmen respectively.
In Imota LGA, the party chairman, Hon. Akinyemi Ramon, also inaugurated the 26-member LGA and Ward executive committees.
The five chairmen sworn-in to oversee the affairs of the party in the four wards in Imota LGA were Ogunyemi Abosede (Ward A), Orewale Bose S. (Ward B), Adetunji Henry (Ward C) and Matthew Giwa Dotie (Ward D).
In Igbogbo/Bayeku LGA, Hon. Sefiu Ogunyemi, who is returning for the second term, also inaugurated its LGA Executive Council.
Samuel Oyebanji, Taiwo Orenuga, Esther Obayomi and Yisa Ajenifuja emerged as the Vice Chairman, Secretary, Women Leader and Youth Leader respectively among others.
At the Igbogbo/Bayeku LGA Ward level, Lawal Sheu , Daini Omotayo, Adeleye Kayode, Sheu Aganga, Muniat Awlesi, Daini Omotayo were inaugurated As Ward C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5 chairmen respectively.
Same exercise was held in Ijede LGA with Monsuru Bello and 25 others inaugurated as LGA executives. All our efforts to get the comprehensive list of the LGA and ward executives members proved abortive.
All the ward chairmen in each of the wards across the five LGAs have also inaugurated their respective executive councils.
