LASRRA Urges Lagos Residents To Register -

Lagos State Residents Registration Agency has embarked on a sensitisation programme to encourage residents to participate in the continuous registration exercise conducted by the Agency in the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas of the State as well as LASRRA headquarters at No. 4 Registration Close, off Lateef Jakande Agidingbi, Ikeja Lagos.
While speaking during a monitoring exercise at the Agency’s headquarters, its Director of Public Affairs, Mr. Babatunde Adele said there is a massive registration going on across the State, stating that a total of 125 residents were registered at the headquarters within the week.
Adele enjoined residents of the State to participate in the exercise to enable the government generate an accurate demographic database for efficient planning and proper allocation of resources in the State.
He reiterated that the functions of the Agency include the creation of a reliable database of all residents in Lagos State through collation of information and data collected from registration forms and advising government periodically on data received from the public.
