Preparations are in top gear to hold the second edition of GLOWFUX (Giving Love With Fun 4 Xmas), an annual end-of-the-year charity event being organized by FANAFILLIT
The event is scheduled to hold at the Origin Zoo & Garden at Ebute-Iga in Ikorodu division, on Christmas Day (December 25, 2017).
According to a release by the organizers, arrangements are being finetuned to ensure that the second edition of the event holds amidst pomp and fun.
“This time around, Fanafillit Integrated Concepts are set to step up the creativity of the project with varieties of activities which have been lined up as part of the Christmas day event”, the statement stated.
It was also stated that this year’s edition is enjoying the collaborative effort from the Punchvibe Entertainment (an Ikorodu-based Music and Media production company) which is coming on board as Technical partner with its hi-tech digital studio production, multimedia coverage and online promotions.
“This new collaborative effort would go a long way in adding more colour and class to this year’s edition and make it a classy event” , the statement added.
The project, which is dedicated to hosting the general public and members of the orphanage homes within Ikorodu division to a one-day entertainment concert, is billed to commence by 1pm with a special rendition of a specially composed and produced Christmas Carol by notable entertainment faces.
According to the statement, some A-list figures in the entertainment industry as well as other artistes and entertainers have confirmed their attendance.
“Those that have confirmed their distinguished attendance at this year’s edition are entertainment/showbiz personalities of Ikorodu division extraction such as Doyin Kukoyi, Fatai Akanbi Valentine, Arewa, MC TalkTalk, Tee Q Bello, Queen Yetunde Savage, DJ Hadex (Star FM), Antras, Da’Fresh Olorin, Dharnnih Ellar (rap goddess), Richy Manny, DPG, Flexible Twists, FKM, Emperor, Meyrah and many others.
Some of these artistes are also expected to thrill the audience with music, dance and comedy performances.
Also, sharing of gifts, food and drinks in the spirit of love as well as group photograph session, presentation of relief/support items to the orphanage homes present are among other activities lined up for the day.
The organizers, while stressing the importance of sharing gifts with others, especially those in needs, said, “Our target for this year edition is to host nothing less than 250 people that comprise well-meaning individuals with their families and members of orphanage homes around us to a refreshing concert where they will have a fun filled moment by dancing to good music, laughing to healthy rib-cracking jokes, getting refreshed with well packaged meal and above all, sharing a token of love with the less privilege.”
The organizers,therefore, called on the general public to be part of the project by attending the event with gift items and relief materials such as clothings, beverages, food items and any other forms of support for the orphanage homes.

THE IMPACT also gathered that organisers of the event are holding talks with some Councils within the division on how they could be part of the project as well as key into other various social programmes lined up for the yuletide season.
