The reconciliatory meeting ended at 12.09pm and voting proper started at 12.15pm with statutory delegates after which the elected delegates were called upon to cast vote starting with Ijede LGA executives and then wards. This was followed by Ikorodu Central LGA and Igbogbo/Baiyeku LGAs.
The fourth LGA, Imota delegates are now casting their votes.
The electoral team led by Barrister Adedeji Ademuyiwa with Hon Ajibola Micheal Adeyinka, Barrister Toke Awoyinka and Princess Bukola Akeredolu are coordinating the exercise, while State Security Service led by its Director in Ikorodu, Nigerian Police Force led by the Area Commander, Area N, Ijede, Onyabo Local Vigilante Group led by Mmr Olabinjo Lanre and INEC officials are also on ground to ensure hitch-free exercise.
