Mr Kazeem Abatan today emerged the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the next election into Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency I, by winning with 52 votes at just concluded primary election in Ikorodu.
He defeated other aspirant, Mr Mickey Lamina who polled 3 votes at the De Kings Hotel venue of the primary. Two votes were voided during the counting of the ballots after a peaceful contest.
Speaking with members of the press, Mr Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, a governorship aspirant on the platform of PDP said that the party is bringing back politics of principles. “We are going to bring back politics of principles where influence of money is played down in politics.”
He added that the PDP is the state is now coordinated and more than before ready to wrestle power from APC.
“We are well coordinated this time and interested in winning. We are not interested in politics of bribery and just spending money to win are just wasting their time” Babatunde said.
